These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the PredictAbility app and website (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Predict Games, registered in the Netherlands (KvK number: 42096328). Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.
By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
PredictAbility is a free, skill-based football score prediction app. Users predict the full-time scores of football matches, earn PA points for correct predictions, and may redeem accumulated points for gift cards.
Important: PredictAbility is a skill-based prediction contest, not a gambling or betting service. No purchase is required to participate. PA points have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service.
- You must be a natural person (not a company or automated bot).
- You must provide a valid email address during registration.
- You may only hold one account. Creating multiple accounts to gain unfair advantage is prohibited and will result in permanent suspension.
- Residents of jurisdictions where skill-based prize contests are prohibited by law are not eligible to participate in gift card redemptions.
3. PA Points & Scoring
PA points are earned as follows:
- Exact score prediction: 250 base PA points.
- If you fail to predict the exact score, your prediction is evaluated against additional accuracy rules. You earn 25 PA points for each of the following:
- Correct prediction of match result (winner team or draw).
- Correct prediction of one team's number of goals only.
- Correct goal difference between teams.
- Correct total number of goals.
- You can earn a maximum of 250 PA points per match. If you make an exact prediction, additional accuracy rules are not evaluated.
Examples:
- Prediction 3–1 · Result 3–1 → 250 PA (exact score).
- Prediction 3–1 · Result 2–1 → 50 PA: correct result (home wins) + correct away goals.
- Prediction 3–1 · Result 2–0 → 50 PA: correct result (home wins) + correct goal difference.
- Prediction 3–1 · Result 2–2 → 25 PA: correct total goals.
- Prediction 3–1 · Result 0–2 → 25 PA: correct goal difference.
- Prediction 1–1 · Result 0–0 → 50 PA: correct result (draw) + correct goal difference.
Predictions are evaluated against the full-time score only (90 minutes of regular play). Goals scored in extra time or penalty shootouts are not counted. If a match is cancelled or abandoned, your prediction may be voided.
Multipliers (1x–5x) may be applied to certain predictions. If applicable, the total base points earned from that match will be multiplied by the multiplier. Multipliers may not be offered to users in certain countries.
Earning PA points does not guarantee eligibility for any particular gift card or reward.
PA points:
- Have no monetary value.
- Cannot be transferred between accounts.
- Cannot be exchanged for cash.
- May be forfeited if your account is suspended for violations of these Terms.
- Expire after 6 months of account inactivity. Activity is defined as making at least one prediction within a 6-month period. We will notify you by email before your points expire.
4. Daily Prediction Allowance
Each user receives one free daily prediction. Additional predictions may be unlocked by watching optional rewarded video advertisements. Watching ads is entirely voluntary — you are never required to watch an ad to use the Service.
5. Match of the Day (MOTD)
One match per day may be designated as the Match of the Day. MOTD predictions are free (no ad required) and eligible for a multiplier spin. The spin wheel is weighted and the outcome is determined by a random number generator. Spin wheel may not be available to users in certain countries. The MOTD is selected at our sole discretion and may be changed or cancelled without notice.
6. Gift Card Redemptions
Users may redeem accumulated PA points for gift cards subject to the following conditions:
- Minimum redemption thresholds apply and are displayed in the app.
- Monthly redemption caps apply per user (displayed in the app at time of redemption).
- Gift cards are delivered to your registered email address.
- Redemptions are subject to availability. We reserve the right to substitute gift cards of equivalent value.
- Redemptions are non-reversible once processed.
- We reserve the right to withhold or cancel redemptions if we suspect fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.
- Gift card redemptions may be subject to local laws and regulations. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
7. Streak System
Users who predict the MOTD on consecutive days build a streak. Streaks reset weekly (every Friday at 05:00 UTC). A streak recovery option may be offered via a rewarded ad for users who miss a single day — this is offered at our discretion and is not guaranteed. Completing a weekly streak rewards you with additional ad-free prediction allowances with a multiplier.
8. Leaderboards & Bonus Points
Weekly and monthly leaderboards rank users by points earned in the respective period. The top 3 users on each leaderboard at the end of the period receive bonus PA points:
- Weekly top 3: 1,000 PA bonus points each.
- Monthly top 3: 2,500 PA bonus points each.
Leaderboards reset at the start of each new period. Historical rankings are not retained in the app but may be stored internally for record-keeping.
9. Advertising
The Service is free and supported by advertising via Google AdMob. By using the Service, you acknowledge that advertisements will be displayed. On iOS, you will be asked for permission to show personalised ads — you may decline without affecting your access to the Service.
10. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Create multiple accounts or use automated tools to make predictions.
- Manipulate, hack, or exploit the points or redemption system.
- Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our written consent.
- Impersonate another person or use a username that is offensive, misleading, or infringes third-party rights.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the Service.
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.
Material violations or fraudulent activity may result in immediate account suspension and forfeiture of all accumulated PA points without notice or refund.
11. Availability & Changes
We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. We may suspend, modify, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time without notice. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unavailability of the Service.
We reserve the right to change the points system, redemption rates, daily allowances, multiplier weights, streak systems, and any other feature of the Service at any time. Changes will be communicated via in-app notice or email where material. Changes will not affect rewards already redeemed or already issued.
12. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, design, and code in the Service is owned by Predict Games or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our written consent.
Football match data is provided by api-sports.io. Club/league logos, names, and other trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. PredictAbility is not affiliated with or endorsed by any football club, league, or governing body.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses. Use the Service at your own risk.
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including internet outages, third-party failures, natural disasters, or government action.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, Predict Games shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of PA points, missed redemption opportunities, or data loss.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed €50.
15. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days and all PA points will be permanently forfeited.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by Dutch law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your country of residence.
